This year the organizers of the International Domotex Fair , together with the "Hali magazine" have organized a competition to reward the best in the year 2006, for innovation in the field of the hand woven carpet domain.
To this end, out of 85 participants, 25 examples of 18 participants were selected for the final round. The winners of the eight categories received their award during a ceremony, which was held at 5 p.m. at the Hall no. 15.
Miri Iranian Knots (Sherkat Saderat Ghali) received the award for the category of the Best traditional Innovation for the year 2006.
