Skilled and experienced knotters, both men and women, craft on horizontal or vertical looms as per the region’s customs.
They carefully sort the wool by color as it arrives so that only evenly dyed threads are used.
Most importantly, only the wool that passed the controlling system, and meets the standards is used in Miri hand-knotted creations.

Tradition-Alive and Strong

The required materials, especially the wool, the natural dyes, and the creative designs are all sent to centers in Northwest Iran (Azarbayjan), Western Iran (Kurdistan and Lorestan), to the South (Fars), and to the Central region (Kashan), where the artworks are knotted the strict adherence to the traditions of the region. In each crafting center, the pieces are carefully knotted and the natural creative processes are completed. In these centers, The Miri Masterworks conceived in the Miri Tehran head quarters, is born, masterworks that will be admired for decades, if not centuries to come.
